VIETNAMESE CREATIVE LEADERS OF SAN DIEGO
BRIDGE brings the Vietnamese Leaders Community lecture series to City Heights. Rizzhel Javier specifically designed to increase the dialogue and visibility of Vietnamese and Vietnamese-American artists, filmmakers and educators living in San Diego, CA and call City Heights their home. The goal of the lecture series is to discuss topics in identity, family origin, culture and migration with leaders that strengthen and support the mission of the Little Saigon Stories project.

we support projects that integrate arts, culture, and design activities into efforts that strengthen communities by advancing local economic, physical, and/or social outcomes. In celebrating for the Tet Festival, we were invited to hold a workshop at the local church for youth in a Vietnamese after school program. The church facilitated many games and provided us with the perfect space to partner with Bridge and the People and Places Project. Guests that participated in this FREE workshop turned shared their stories. Each person got the chance to draw a self portrait, or of someone they care about, and turn it into a plush toy to take home!
To bridge the gaps between education and community with community workshops, lectures and events. The mission of Bridge is to connect community and promote an equitable, accessible and fun art experiences.
The mission of the People + Places Project is to provide an inclusive space for communities to share stories about who they are and places they live.
